Here's my vote. Hamiltons Caymen Sun 250w hqi pendants. They also have built in moonlights. You can get them with 14 k bulbs for around $330 a piece. Should be within your budget and hamilton has been around for a long time.

I am actually redoing my lights on my 125 tonight. I was running three 250 watts MHs on crappy spider reflectors and one row of t5s. I got shiney new reflectors and I'm going to try and get away with two 250 watt MHs and two rows of t5s and maybe some stunners down the road. I just tested and loved the look. I'm happy. I like the custom approach compared to prefabbed fixtures. IMO.

Not done. Finishing the front cover tomorrow. But wiring is all done. You get the idea. You get to choose the reflectors you want. The bulbs. The setups. The whole nine yards. Definitely worth while.

on the right track there buddy that second light should be able to do most coral as long as you keep the higher light demanding stuff up in rocks. the General rule is one bulb(row) per 3 inches depth, you have a 18 inch deep tank I believe so a 6 bulb/row would be recommended. the aquatic life fixture says 8 bulb which is misleading its actual 8x 36inch bulbs so 4 rows
