I've got the 20" version of this light (150hqi and blue and white LEDs) I've had it for well over 5-7 years to light my fuge. Great fixture, however I thought they discontinued these...... If you can get it I would buy it

only draw back i see is no dusk and dawn full on or off...but im a bit spoiled with my last couple fixtures. when i was wee reefer i had a 65 with a single 250w pendent and a odysea water proof led moonlight and that was a great tank.

Yes you can...
But what we are getting at is that to cut back on heat and a little on energy, you might want a fixture with some T5s to supplement the MH's.... That way you could leave the mH's on for 6-8 hours and the T5s for 10-12 hours..
not saying that fixture won't work but you are more than likely going to want to upgrade it..

Another thing andres, what type of coral are you planning on stocking?
Are you against canopies?
