used vegetable oil anyone?
I just moved out here from California and I have nowhere to get any used vegetable oil.
my 97 f250 powerstroke is converted to run on vegetable oil, I have traveled all over the country running on vegetable oil, I had sources throughout the country but now that we r settled I need some fuel. I know alot of people fry up some killer food and have nothing to do with the used oil. If u have a couple containers full I will pick it up.
or if someone on here owns/manages/works at a restaurant, and wants to help a fellow reefer out.
I can not use animal fat since it hardens at room temp but any veg, soy, rice oil i can take,
I'm located in New braunfels and will travel pretty far to get large amounts of oil. But if u live in corpus and just have 5 gallons its not worth me driving that far.
let me know if u have any.
Thanks!

I'm no help in locating oil, but I have to say that is really cool. What's your mileage like?

You should contact the owners of different Chik-Fil-A's as I believe most of them are independently owned. Sonic used to be that way, but I'm not sure since SRI corporate has stepped in. I'm pretty sure if you could save a company money by not having to pay for disposal that they would thank you.
You've probably already thought of that though.
A helpful place that you may want to check out is Reddit. They have a subforum just for SA and it tends to be filled with some bright individuals that love bacon and kittens. www.reddit.com/r/sanantonio
Good luck with your search!

I cant use fast food oil, believe it or not they use the worst oil.
I get about 19 on diesel and 17 on veg.
I drove from ca to here, 1730 miles for 250$ in fuel. Towing my jetta filled to the brim, truck bed full and over 200 gallons in fuel. I dont care about mileage when its free. And I save so much money in fuel i was able to spend alot of money on alot of power!
