    Default Sump pump

Ok so I am doing a 75 gallon reef tank and have my tank with a overflow in the middle that's about 12inches across and maybe 6 deep. It has 2 predrilled bulkheads for return and outlet to and from the sump. Now I'm generally new to sumps and wanna do this right, I purchased a 29 gallon sump with 3 chambers along with a corallife 65 skimmer. My question is what kind and how powerful of a sump pump do I need to get? Also what kind of plumbing parts should I use? I want to do a refugium and plan on using as much lr as I can afford. Any suggestions on a pump that won't brake the bank and will last? Thanks y'all!

A lot of people use Mag pumps, I have one for my saltwater mixing station and it has done well but it is a little loud, but that may be due to its application. The pumps I've used on my bigger tanks and I've had for awhile are Aqua Via pumps. DFS used to sell them and they were cheap, quiet, performed, and have stood the test of time. DFS doesn't sell them anymore and other outlets are a little more comparable prices now, so you might opt for a Mag or Eheim. I would shoot for a Mag 5 or 7 on that tank if it were me, probably the 7 to compensate for head loss.

Falcondob has a rio 3100 for $50 I think. That should be plenty for a 4 ft tank. May not need powerhead. Split the feed into your tank.
depends on what your doing. I may go over there and get it if nobody gets it.

you could do a rio 1700 from THAWK for $20 and korolia from Falcon
