Make sure the person feeding your tank understands how much to feed. My mom put a weeks worth of food in on the first day I was gone. On the second day she called and asked why there was so much algae. I was freakin' till I got home.

Oh and don't make any changes before you leave. Any change could have catastrophic results over a 10 day period.

Tell them to use the prepackaged frozen cubes so you can just tell them to use one or two cubes a day for feeding.

i made small portions of food mixed with brines and pemysis for each day set aside in my freezer..
My AC is usually set on 73 all the time because of cat being at my house also...my tank usually runs on 79 and chiller is set on 80 which kicks on maybe once a day...
    Thanks

I usually leave my food in pre set baggies. One for each day, tell them to use a bag a day and you won't have any problems.

Amen! I was gone for a weekend and my A/C must have gone out right after we left the house.
