    I was thinking of purchasing this light has anyone ever used one and what do you think of it?

    it almost looks like texreefers ..if it is.its a good light. Ck out the for sale post he had..there some pics..

    i ran a reefkoi evolution 120 w for over a year and had no problems jeremy whats the price on this there is a guy i know in colorado that is selling lights i can probably get you one cheaper

    I've been following this thread since it started, they may or may not have mentioned this unit. At any rate, there are reviews of the various chinese LED fixtures out there here. It's long, but if you really want to know...

    What size tank? According to the Reef Central thread it takes 6 to do a 6' x 2' layout. Also remember when using LEDs they need to be the dimmable type because they are tested to lose 3% each year and at 5 years if you started out at 100% you will be down 15%, where as if you get a dimmable/controllable you could start at at 85% and then increase each year to maintain your PAR levels. I tried one one on my 29 and for the power used I stayed with t5's.
