    Default cleaner wrasse

    looking for a cleaner wrasse asap because no lfs has one and my clown has ich!!!

    From what I understand, clean wrasses don't really cure ich man. They help with some parasites but the visible form of ich are just the cysts before it falls off and turns into more ich. Someone feel free to chime in if I'm completely misunderstanding it please.

    I was just saying because last time he had ich my cleaner wrasse cleaned him and he was eating and stuff man

    That's fine. The wrasse will pick at the fish but just knocks the cysts off which "hatch" into more ich. The fish recovering from ich has nothing to do with the presence of a cleaner wrasse. Just putting it out there so you can consider effective remedies for your fish. Hate to see you lose your fish while depending a commonly mistaken "remedy" is all. Best of luck.
