    Well, unlike a pump,

    1) There were no promises - nor am I expecting promises - of a return. It was a donation to someone who deserves the help. Back in the stone age, when I was that young (and it wasn't illegal to work in a LFS like I did), this kind of help was MOST appreciated. He thanked me, and that's all I am expecting, and all I'll take. Besides, the salt was going to go bad, by the time I used the other 2 buckets before that one. I mean... I have an 8 gallon tank!

    2) The pump was WAY different. It could have been used for a couple of weeks, and returned when they got theirs back. It's been 6-8 months, and not a word.

    3) Karma is a female dog.
