    Default Filtration?

    Ok I noticed my water has been cloudy of the past few days for my filtration I have dump with a few pieces of lr and a refugium aswell I have been out of a skimmer for about a week. Is there other media I should use?

    bag of chemipure elite should help and some water changes

    I have a bag of chemipure elite in there as water is entering the sump

    What kind of fish and shrimp do you have? Some gobies and pistol shrimp can keep the sand bed stirred up.

    Could be a bacterial bloom. If so a UV sterilizer, Ozone, & skimmer are the only things that will help get rid of it without water changes.

    well going to be picking up a skimmer soon and the only goby i have is a diamond goby

    and i do water changes like every three weeks or whenever someone needs water

    Diamond Goby's are constant sand sifters. It could be that he is kicking up your sand, also. I'd try to buy that skimmer soon or perform more frequent water changes.
