Too much flow
I have a 6 g cube tank I'm trying to set up for seahorses
but the filter seems to be throwing a little to much water flow what's the
best way to slow it down I was thinking about wrapping some sponge around it???
Pm me to see pics of the filter

i'd stick a piece of sponge or filter material around the intake to the pump/filter.....just some form of restriction. Depending on if it is a cylindrical intake (tube), you could try and find a gate valve that fits it so that it would be more accurately adjustable. If the return is in the shape of a nozzle you could try and connect a diffuser to it..... sorry, this is all I can think of. I just saw your post getting no action and thought I would throw some thoughts at ya.

yeah, same here...you could also just cut a fish net and wrap it around the intake and hold it there with a rubberband provided it's a tube intake as mentioned above.

another idea is to have your rock work breach the water surface right in front of the filter return...it would block some of the flow
