    Default Lighting

So Im looking to really expand my fishroom which will make me redo my tank to completely in-wall. Im going to use this as an opportunity to upgrade equipment. Im going with a bigger skimmer, 4 mp40s, biopellets and dosing! My problem I face is I want leds as my chalices wont be in this tank anymore just sps, but the spread on leds isnt near as good as halides. Sols are out because of their spread and only white and blue leds(I want full spectrum). This then narrows my choices alot to the Radiums or the Mazzarra P. Anyone running these two fixtures locally? I also want to wait for the new AI vega but they aren't even giving a release date yet....

Or I could just stay with my halides which nicely cover the tank at 1200 watts but put off that heat halides are known for.

Can't bring myself to do t5 on such a large tank replacing all those bulbs would be a huge pain.

Kevin since ur gne be in a high end chalices I strongly don't recommend LEDs...
Chalice tend to change a lot of color under LEDs and which is gne suck specially for u since u hve all the high $$ chalices ....
I do suggest to go halides or even more t5s is u r setting up a lps tank.

My babies(chalices) are going to be in a completely different system already bought all the t5 for that system. This one is mainly going to be a sps/display tank. The chalice system will be back behind this one in my "man cave". Lol

i hve read gud reviews about radians...it does pop a nice look out of your colors but dnt know really its an investment wort it for a new sps tank where u wana see a gud growth....
i think its a big risky investment...just my point of view
