Spend your time on the beach, from what I remember there is a lot of sight seeing opportunities out on south beach.

There's also a lot of cuban cultered areas where you can experience the foods and drinks of Cuba. Or you can drive around and count how many homes have bars on the windows. That was new to me, and I grew up in California!

Water is pretty cold right now so you may have to wear a suit if you want to snorkel. Hollywood beach or las olas beach have easy parking. Reef is 100 yards out. Lots if fishstores. Wholesalers are there so the shops always have fresh stock. Look up the local fish club page and they have a google mashup of all the local LFS. Monty's has great stone crabsif in season. Check out the hard rock Indian casino. The have a area called Hollywood live. Pretty good nite scene and is safe. Look it up b/f you go. Lots of parks. Maybe drive the 20 minutes over to the Everglades for a gator tour or a little fishing. And as said before. Stop in a hole in a wall cafe for a Cuban sandwich and a colada(sp).
