Default Another person in need of an Anemone ID.

Ok, so I'm new to this. As in I've only had a saltwater tank for about 2 weeks, new. I bought a 75g tank with coral, fish, rock etc included. When I bought the tank the person told me a bit about the coral, but never mentioned any anemones. However, I got a bit suspicious when what I thought was some kind of shroom moved from one part of the tank to another over night!! From the position it's in now I can see the foot pretty well. I have three of these in the tank all together. I could be way off and it's something else. Basically I just wanted to know what it is and if I need to do any special feeding. Thanks in advance for the help. I'm liking MAAST so far!!!

good eye beto, i had missed that completely. the one in the center is indeed just a shroom, but the one behind it to the right is an aptasia, not something a person is likely to list as one of the selling points of their tank. aptasia are a troublesome pest anemone that may sting your other coral. they are prolific and if left unchecked can easily take over a tank. i' either snag some peppermint shrimp, which are hit and miss, or try one of the commercially available aptasia killers. i like aptasia x, or you can make a kalk paste cheaper and arguably just as effective.

The character is the one in the middle, the green one. I was unaware that shrooms can move. Thanks everyone for replying. I also just started looking up info on aptasia. There a quite a few in the tank. I'm not sure about the shrimp because I have a fairly troublesome Clown Trigger in the tank. I'll look at the other options first I suppose. Is there a link on the sight about making kalk paste, or is a regular google search just as affective. Is there anything in general I need to watch out for while treating the aptasia? Thank you again for all the help. I have a few more things I'd like to ID, but I'll take it one step at a time. I have to say that I'm really liking saltwater so far!!!
