    Default Solana XL67 (Re)build

Well, the Cadlights Artisan has gone off to a new owner and I've upgraded a little. I ran out of room way too quick in the 40, so the extra 1' will be very nice. It's pretty much factory right now and you know I can't leave it like that very long.

I just used the rock I had in the 40 so it's a little sparse in there at the moment. I'm still not sure if I'm going to add more rock or leave LOTS of room for growout. It's staying like this until I get my other Vortech up since my little MP10 is working overtime to provide flow to the whole tank.

The tank is a Solana XL67. Dimensions are 48" x 18" x 18", 3 side Starphire and a removable "lid" that allows glass tops to be used or run rimless. I like the fact I can run it both ways. I can finally get my Firefish!

I really like the stand that came with it, MUCH better than the Cadlights POS.

I'm currently using the stock sump and a Octopus 110, but it's only temporary.

    Lots of changes coming soon.

Here's the game plan so far:

    Tank:
    SCWD in overflow box
Mesh screen to replace glass tops

    Filtration:
    Custom L shaped sump with a 15" x 15" frag section
    SRO BR70 running BRS Biopellets
    SRO MR1000 running GFO
    SRO-XP1000SSS Skimmer
    Filter Sock

    Lighting:
    2 Black AI SOL
1 AI Nano for the frag tank

    Flow:
    Sicce 5.0 with Reactor Manifold
    2 x Vortech MP10ES

    Control:
    Digital Aquatics RKE
    NET
    ALC

Here's a crappy cell phone pic. It looks more like a frag tank than a display.

Better pics coming once I make some more progress.

Another piece of the puzzle came in today. I'll show how it all fits together soon.
