Time out?
A couple of times now I have written long posts that required more than average prep time. I am logged in while wrting but when I go to post it says I am not logged in and don't have permission and all is lost. Is there a time out function. If so is there a way around it or is this just a problem with my account.

This does not sound right? I can't say I have ever had this problem. On long post I write them on a word document and then copy and paste to MAAST.

This used to happen to me all the time and I would get SO frustrated by it! I feel your pain. Two suggestions: I think it no longer happens to me because I stay logged in all the time by checking that "Remember me" box under the log in at the top right of the screen.
But even more importantly... If / when it does happen again, notice that the error message you get "sorry you are no longer logged in, no longer have access, etc" offers a place to log in if you scroll down the page, below that error message. If you scroll down there and log in below the timed out message, it sends whatever you have just written with no problems. If you log back in at the top of the page (usual place at top right), then all is lost! Hope that helps!!

It happens to me, so I do what Kristy says. I also highlight and copy my text just in case.

Thanks folks twice was enough. I think copy and paste will work for me. Are there any programs the forum doesn't like Word,Word Perfect,Works. I know I have trouble with Works and Emails some times.
