    Default Intro

Hey guys/gals...just a quick intro and a few pics of my tank. I had a 55 saltwater gallon several years ago, when I was single and never paid as much attention to it as I should have. I had to get rid of that one, and always had the bug! Fast forward several years and went to the LFS to find a small nano tank. Well hidden in the corner was a used 120 gallon corn tank. Bought it, which included the metal halide light system and sump! Repainted it and just got the go ahead to put my first fish in it today. My wife chose a couple of firefish. Here are a few pictures...sorry for the bad quality as they were taken with my phone. Hope to eventually make it a reef tank.

    Happy to meet everyone.

The last picture is of my cat who has become fascinated with the two firefish and won't take her eyes off of them!

That's a pretty little treasure you found there! I love your rockwork. Lots of open space to work with.

Are you going for a fish dominated tank for now? You've got the lighting for a pretty impressive coral display too!

Thank you...yes I plan on doing fish only until I feel the tank is established enough to get a few corals. This tank has been a blast and glad I got into the hobby:

The rockscape looks perfect for that tank shape. Have you checked out our sponsor list to see which stores are around? We've had a couple new ones open up/ change ownership recently.

Looks like the cat is going to enjoy the tank as much as you and number two will.
