Well I have the 3GS iPhone and I'm still happy with it, don't see the need for any more features. Everything else seems like a luxury, which is why I am not dying for the upgrade.

Just saying all the numbers and specs being thrown around is what always happens when a iPhone/droid phone comparison gets brought up... But most droid users I have met personally are always looking for something new..... Most iPhone users are usually pleased with what they have.....

Same goes for macs/pcs.... I have had my Mac running for 2 years and no issues, with no monthly or yearly subscriptions to some sort of spyware or cleaning software and it still runs as fast as when I bought it... Can't say the same for my HP which crashed right after the free subscription to mcafee ended...... Since then I made up my mind and never buying a pc again. This is just my experiences with the products, not saying everyone's pc's suck but mine did.

I always hear about problems with AT&T, what kind were you having? I have yet to have one complaint with the 3 years I been with them. I know there customer service is not as good as sprints but then again I don't call as much as my sister did....

So true... I think Apple makes a quality product in most anything they roll out. Products that are built to last. I think it's hit or miss with the Samsung and HTC phones but I also believe they have had a little time under their belts to finally get the product right. I was even part of the Samsung Instinct Sprint phone that was supposed to be an "iPhone" killer and all it did was kill my patience.

Customer service was a big issue and because of the issues I had with the phone I was constantly in contact with customer service. It was so bad for me that the local store employees would hide when they saw me coming. I went through 3 different I phones before I finally gave up on it. Also, at the time I was having issues with reception and dropped calls in my area that bothered me. I could not even use my phone while at home. I am sure that it has gotten better since then though.

Every one has their preferences. I have been happy with my droid and verizon. I know you aren't changing carriers Rob, just throwing a free plug out there.

It is like the old Chevy vs Ford arguments. You have your favorite. I bought my first Ford 2 years ago and knew I was in trouble the day I shut my tailgate and the emblem fell off of it. LOL

I just wish I could find a 4s. None of the stores have them in stock and can't tell you when they will. Only those who preordered got them.

the other good thing is you get time to try the phones out and can return them after 14 days ($35 restocking fee though)...of course the 4S isn't in stock though.

Rob, I'm the poster boy for Apple Haters (mainly cause of proprietary software), but I gotta admit the iphone4 is nice. I was comtemplating the Epic as well, but after serious consideration I choose the iphone. I would have picked up the 4s, but needed a phone ASAP.

I even went back to Sprint after a week to exchange for the Epic, but after comparing them again in the store, I left with my iphone. The Samsung just seemed cheaper, and the screen was not as clear.

A few weeks later and I'm used to the screen size and happy with the phone. I suppose it's not as exciting as a newer/different model, but I kinda like the familiarity of the operating system and not changing docking stations/adapters ect.

One note on AT&T, I always though they were good on customer service - WRONG.

They let me walk after not allowing me to upgrade a month early from contract (no biggie but didn't make much sense to lose a customer over one month. But it got worse, they informed me yesterday that my phone numbers were ported over a day after billing, and that I would be liable for the entire months service - FOR ONE DAY OF SERVICE! Plus, I would still have to pay $65 for each phone early termination - for the same month I'm paying full price! I spoke to a supervisor and she would not pro-rate or eliminate the cost.

I will never use AT&T again, and will be getting rid of my U-verse TV/Interent account today as well.

alright iPhone 4S users on Sprint...are you having connection problems? I still haven't decided on a phone yet but the internet is flooded with forum posts about connection problems on the 4S through Sprint. That's a deal breaker for me and puts me at about 90% certain to go with the Epic Touch, which my wife has had for almost 2 weeks and she jams on it...popping from YouTube video to MP3 player etc...super fast.

My sister-in-law was over last week and she had the 4S on sprint and she could not check emails all day...nor could she open any urls, she was complaining to my wife all day long about the phone while they were out shopping. I will say it looked freakin sweet though...she had the white one. Solid phone but something is up with Sprint's connection on it. Not sure I want to wait that one out....you can only return the phone within a 14 day period and it could take Sprint a lot longer to work all the kinks out.
