that seems like an overly complicated way to pee on a fire hydrant... ?

Wow that is pretty cool. What a disciplined dog to jump up there and sit. Hope she got a treat.

HAHAHA!!! No its just a cool trick no peeing going on there. I tell her to place and she will get on what I tell her to place on and wait for my next command. Comes in handy when she is hyper and i want her to go lay on her bed. I just say place and point and she goes and lays down. Or in this case sits on a hydrant LOL Kinda like the dog version of planking LOL

Yes Steve I use a training collar LOL. Its not quite 10,000 volts.

I got the following info from a couple of websites when I did my research.

Most collars range between 0.000005 Joules on low and 0.0003 Joules on high.

A "muscle stimulation machine" set on a "normal level" emits 2.0 joules and Set on a "high level" it emits 6.0 joules

An electric fence energizer [a "charged fence" – not a pet containment system] emits 3.2 joules

A modern defibrillator can emit up to 360 joules

So compared to other electronic devices its not high at all. I have tried ALL levels on myself from 1 to 24 and yes the higher ones sting but I only use level 2 at home and level 3 durring high distraction cases like at the dog park.
