281/1604 Interchange Weekend Construction notices - I'd take a different route :)

In case you don't get these, here is the update for the 281/1604 interchange that you might want to be aware of before you head out this weekend:

Two wknd lane closures -

1) Loop 1604 EB right main lane and shoulder will be closed after the Stone Oak exit ramp to the Stone Oak bridge.

2) The Loop 1604 EB frontage left lane will be closed starting from Stone Oak (in front of the Valero) to the US 281 exit ramp (Afton Oaks).

Both closures are sched for 8/20-8/21 from 6am till 6pm.

The good news is the Loop 1604 EB Gold Canyon exit ramp is now OPEN to traffic.

Can't wait till the project is done. Surprised that they aren't working the northbound 281 traffic and southbound 281 from/to 1604.

My exit has been closed all summer, nice that it is open again. Just glad to see some $$$ stay in SA for improvements. Orange construction cones are a blessing.
