Default Photo uploads, can somebody help please?

I host the photos of my corals on my own website, and up until recently, I could input the url on MAAST and the pics would show up in my posts. However, tonite I ran into an issue. Whenever I would input the url for the photo in the photo url box, it would say "invalid url". Of course, that very same url will take anyone directly to my photo. Any idea what the issue is? Is it because the photos are on my website, or what? Help, please.

since you host them on a site already, just hover over the pic and copy it...then paste it into the body of your post. That's how I post all of my flickr pics.

Ok, I give up. The only thing it will let me do is upload pictures from my computer. It won't accept a url, it won't let me paste a photo, and it won't work on anything but the basic uploader. This is the pits, since I had some pictures that I really wanted to share :(

The text that you have entered is too long (754485 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long.
That's the message I get Rob. I always have to save images to my computer and then upload to Photobucket to get any of them to work on here.

I have never uploaded any images...takes too long. The error you got is because when you copied over the image you brought all the junk with it and you need to just copy the image...or place your cursor before and or after the image once pasted into maast and delete all the crud you can't see.

    Anyways...that's how I do it.
