I figured that they are in love with me. Maybe I should just decline my right to vote. HAHA

There is a law firm across from the criminal justice center. I sometimes leave my helmet and backpack with the receptionist. I will be downtown in a couple hours if you still need to store it over there.

Thanks for the offer but I think I prefer to hang on to everything.

Just got done eating lunch. I got a slice of pizza at some small joint right next to the courthouse.

It was YUMMY! 1/2 way there folks, half way there...

So whats the deal - you never made it into the courtroom for an interview? Does it matter if you just don't show up?

Mike and I managed to get jury duty together so we just hung out all day in the juror hall reading, talking, and playing games on our phones. It's hard to get out of there any earlier than 3 or 4 no matter what you are willing to say.

Christopher, you appear to be having way too much fun with this! Next time I get jury duty, I'll pay you $6 to serve it for me.

That pizza place is really good. The cafeteria actually has good sushi too. Weird, I know. I've been summoned twice for bexar county. The first time I was still a TN resident so I got a notarized letter. The second time was during a trial I was working on so a judge signed off for me. Hopefully I will be safe for a few more years!

Well, I got dismissed at ~2:00, how nice. I took the bus home and it's now 3:00. Just like a teacher, always getting off early ;) .

    Thanks for keeping me company.

They know if you're there or not by your paperwork. If you don't show, it's contempt of court charges for you!

Make it $6 AND a lunch and you may have yourself a deal!

Service was fast too even though it was busy there. I didn't have an opportunity to go to the cafeteria.

I showed them this posting and let them know they missed one . All I heard was, "yadda yadda yadda, next time for sure, yadda yadda."

Ok, so I guess you found a place to leave your comp and join the courtroom...sorry but I'm just trying to get the inside scoop. I guess it doesn’t matter if you can’t secure your own belongings.

Don’t get me wrong; when I’m old and retired I would enjoy the opportunity to serve as a juror. But right now....nightmare.
