Annual Port A. Collection Trip
Scheduled for July 15-17^th 2011 with the following activities:

• Bonfire on the beach
• Texas State Aquarium Tour
• Gulf Coast boat cruise w/ dolphin watch and lighthouse views
• Featured guest speaker: TBA
• Great raffle prizes
• daytime beach collection
• Specimen collection along jetties
• Beachside BBQ dinner
• Kayak trip

All MAAST members are invited as well as members of our sister reef clubs around Texas: ARC, DMAS, DFWMAS, MARSH, and RSF.

Self guided tour through Texas State Aquarium with additional half hour option of a behind-the-scenes tour of the inner workings of their system.

Basic tour only:

Presentation:
A panel of local reef enthusiasts discuss various collection techniques.

Maast Scholarship-
A Maast Scholarship of $500 will be available to any graduating charter members and good towards a college of their choice beginning January 2012.

By-Laws & Terms of Use:

It was discussed that the By-Laws and Term Of Use for MAAST have been and still need to be reviewed by the BOD to seek any and all grammatical areas and make sure that they all co-inside with each other.

MAAST T-Shirts:

Presented to the BOD by John Perry was a newly designed MAAST T-Shirt. 200 Maast T-Shirts have been ordered and are on hand and available to purchase as a discounted price.
