So I went to clean my ETSS 500 skimmer and dropped it.... I have a back up skimmer running currently, but would like one that can really keep my SPS happy. I am willing to buy skimmer or can work some sort of trade out ...

    Have several MH set ups
    T5 set ups
really nice 22x22 custom built sump with refugium
    Nice iwaki pump
a top Fantom 200a skimmer (wont fit)
2 brand new helios 110 watt VHO lights 18in
    120 LED light
    a bunch of live rock

    And corals....

I have an "Ace Built" beckett skimmer sitting in the garage. Used it on my 215.

You are welcome to give it a try. If it works, great. If not, return it.

I have the berlin skimmer on my tank. Does a good job. Tried different pumps and the bigger the pump the better it skims.my billows is low so only have a mag 5 on it. Once load gets bigger will put a. Mag 12 on.

    Default skimmer

Might sound stupid but where does it collect? and what would you be wanting for that? Any possibility of a trade.

I have a berlin and am running 500-600gph. It skims very little and is very very think. I prefer skimming more and lighter. I have a big bio load 10 differet tangs and clowns, several cleaner, fire and coral bandits. dozen sub snails, and many elephants and turbos. Probably 80-90 varations of corals. Everything seems alright and parameters
