    Default Two piece steel stand

Does anyone here have one they are using? I would like my tank to end up being in the 45" high range so my shortest dimension I could turn the stand would be 3'. I was thinking a 10" pedestal much like on my wooden stand now if you have been by but clamped and screwed together. This will have a wavebox on it so it will be torqued down tight but then again it will only have one wavebox so I dont expect a huge wave.

The other option is two similar stands built identical to each other and brought in then bolted and welded together. It would have to run length wise to fit in so think two identical 8'x18"x~45". The problem I face here is they would have to be EXACTLY the same height.

Third option is to just have a 34" tall stand and have to work with that.

Anyways Ill let the engineers of MAAST let me know the best approach. I am leaning towards the pedastal idea which Allan gave me when he built my wooden stand.

Is this for your 300+ gallon monster? Gabe's dad has a welding shop.
