Smile Art for Conservation "Sea Mates" painting of sea turtles

Hi. I am the artist who created the painting "Sea Mates" and would like to communicate with the person who posted information last November about my several of my paintings, etc. Apparently you may have visited Key West or were given information by Reef Relief about my painting within the promotion of, "Sea Mates".

I'd love to answer any questions you may have as to this promotion and about this sea turtle painting specifically. I believe you were asking several questions about the number of prints in the edition, etc. but must not have known how to reach me as the artist. Of course, I was flattered to see my painting/paintings on your blog, but also must caution you that all of my images are copyrighted and should not be reproduced without my consent. My website and contact information is: www.gloriaclifford.com

I'd enjoy telling you more about this special painting and also about all other recent sea turtle paintings which I have just created! As my website states, I am devoting this year exclusively to ocean themed paintings. Hope to hear from you.

What other kinds of paintings do you do?

Do you own a reef tank also?

    Beautiful work BTW!
So are you still donating a percentage to the Relief Reef?

Hi again to you all....... I guess most of you live in Texas! You asked what other kinds of paintings I do.....please go to my website to see others: www.gloriaclifford.com and let me know those you like! Yes, I am still donating to Reef Relief when I receive sales from the leads they sent/send to me. 25% of all sales that Reef Relief generates will be donated back to them from the sales of my ocean themed paintings or reproductions. They are an awesome organization and need our help to save the reefs within this country! Everyone can help and if you purchase one of my sea turtle prints, you will help AND receive a cool piece of art as well. Just make sure if you order one of my reproductions that you let me know where you heard about my work. That way, I can send the gift to the correct organization.

As to the reply to CoryDude....thanks for your nice comment about my painting being "beautiful" and that the turtles are "awesome looking". They truly are awesome animals and we need to save them. Out of the seven species of sea turtles ALL SEVEN are either threatened or endangered!!!!! What most people don't know is how very necessary and important they are to the health of our oceans and that they are being killed by the thousands due to overfishing and net fishing in particular. Please spread the word to those you know who love the ocean that we all need to get involved in ocean conservation!

If anyone has an additional questions, please feel free to contact me through my website. That way your questions will be answered more quickly as I check my e-mails more frequently. Thanks so much. Gloria Clifford

Oh, I forgot to tell you that no, I don't own a reef tank but hope to when I move back to Florida. Love having a salt water tank but don't have one currently. And yes, I am still donating to Reef Relief if I receive sales from their leads!
