    Default Help Id wrasse

    This is the wrasse thats harrassing my new blue heads. Going to trap him and get it out.

    What species? sorry for the crappy pics, to many to make up for the quality.

    I think its a Five Stripe Wrasse aka Pinkface wrasse, but if you think any different let me know

    This link is it im pretty sure, I definately have a male because it flashed the yellow belly on Friday night while in attack mode.

    yep thats definately it, Thanks JT.

    Not a cheap fish either, little monster. I should note before I added the bluehead wrasses it never showed any aggression. Actually gets pushed around by my flame angel and clarkii clown.

    so its the klungzinger wrasse??? i know sometimes we get them in but they will send it as a different name but i forget that name right now

    Hes around 3 1/2-4". I will most likely be selling or trading him. Not sure, when that time comes I will post.

    Will need to go to a tank with out any wrasses in the Thalassoma especially if they are males. Why I ran into this problem in the 1st place. Its got along great with both my Red Corris and Purple belly wrasse, but they are from a different family of wrasses.
