Thread: Wet Acrylic Nano 7.5!!!

  1. #1

    Default Wet Acrylic Nano 7.5!!!

New prototype nano. The Wet Acrylic Nano 7.5, tank measures 14x14x12". The back filtration is setup for a cryptic, DSB and macro fuge. Only nano tank I've ever seen to offer such a wide range of different styles of filtration. The first chamber behind the overflow can be stacked all the way to the top with rock rubble. The center chamber can run a 4" DSB while still leaving 1" of baffle exposed above the DSB. For a pump it will be running a mini-jet 606. The tank also includes euro bracing around the display tank and a extended bottom plate with rounded edges. This tank was made with transparent blue bottom plate and back dividers. Between the blue color and design of the back filtration this is a very unique tank. More info and pictures will be added as I get the tank setup. Now for a few pics.

When I made my acrylic tank, this is what I initially envisioned, but then I decided I would just use the existing sump I had from Ace so I used a coast to coast external overflow instead. Nice little tank for sure though.

The plan for this tank is a bonsai inspired zoa tank. I will run cryptic, DSB and chaeto as filtration. Once I get water in the tank I will add a video to show the flow with the included pump.

These tanks should be available for sale soon through MrCobsCorals.com. I was just asked to test one to check for any possible upgrades. I'm sure they would be happy to answer any questions for anyone interested.
