    Default SPS recovery request

Hey folks, I am looking for one to three volunteers to host an accro frag for me. I want to get these guys happy-looking, so that when I get my LEDs, I am not going to have to deal with picking skeletons out of my tank. I would want volunteers that have what is considered an "appropriate SPS setup."

I would want you to keep a frag of them for your tank space, when they recover, and if necessary, we can discuss alternate compensation. They are all on plugs, and are surviving just fine in my tank (see the other threads). Further, I am personally sure that I have a pest-free environment, but I would still urge an abundance of caution, and ask that you dip before you introduce to your tank. I'm Irish...things happen!

It's an odd request, I know. Consider it a Valentine's Day gift to me. LMK, please.

    Thanks
    Richard

How long would we host the frag? Do we get a frag of our own to keep?

I'll host a frag. I'm running MH 250 14k. It will sit on a Frag rack next to my other sps.

that's what I'm scared of, especially if they come out like that hammer.

Any updates guys? I'm sure they aren't dressing in drag and doing the hula, but any observations would be cool.

I glued the frag onto my rock structure.

It's quite small and I was generous with the glue so it will be some time before I know for certain what will happen. (But...) IME, tissue typically starts recessing quickly if the frag doesn't agree with its new tank. Seeing how there is no recession, I have high hopes for this frag! Hard to tell the color as of right now, looks greenish. I'm sure the color will change a bit.
