well i got my new evo for Christmas and its running real slow even with 4g on.
when i get on youtube it will keep telling me that it wont work.
anyone have a solution for this SLOW problem?

Just keep trying to play the vid, not all YouTube bids will work. Also, make sure that the 4g symbol is showing a signal, you don't always have access to 4g network when you turn it on.

yeah. and is there any hacks to get free apps or anything over 2.2 software. i want to make my phone faster lol

I have been unimpressed with 4g speed unless I have full bars which has only been downtown. That's where I need it most But even on 3g I get 5 min youtube videos to play without any lag. Not sure what is going on with yours.

You could try trading me phones. JK My samsung moment was horrible until I got a software update from Sprint. It would literally run out of battery in 2-4 hours with little to no use and lots of lag/slow internet. Now that I updated it it can go over a day without charging and the internet is much faster. I always used task killer to make sure no apps were running before and after the update.

2.2 is still the most current of Android. There was an HTC update 3.70.651.1 that came out recently. If you don't have Kindle, Swype on your phone then you don't have the update.

Kindle is just another ad campaign and you are better off going with free e pub readers/ catalogs that won't charge you
Swype was tedious, but cool concept
NOVA had fantastic graphics for a phone game!!!!
And blockbuster will try updating it's catalog all the time, but you can turn the setting off

None of these apps are deletable unfortunately
