    Default That was tough!

Hoping that a mix up in my lighting will help my SPS issue and also get a bit more light on my clams.

I moved the Reef Illumination Light (MHs, LED strip, and 2 t5s) up about 4 inches. As a result it spreads better in the tank and now it doesn't block part of my t5 light either. But, boy that thing is a heavy sucker! My hubby was sweet enough to help. We ended up using crutches across the brace of the canopy for leverage! I also had to move my T5s to make it work, but now that it is done I love it. Hope my corals do too. Also mixed up the lighting scheme.

    LEDs 14 hours
1.25 hours after they are on, one set of t5s comes on
1.25 hours later, the other set of Ts come on
1.25 hours later, the MHs come on
Then reverse of the process to shut off
Lunar module dims/controls my lunar lights throughout the night

I don't do this in the summer because I want the MHs off by early afternoon, but I think I have a few months before that is an issue.

Well the work was worth it. My picasso clowns have finally spawned again (first time since I changed to the Reef Illuminations light).
