    Default pitbull

A bluenose brindle pitbull around 6 months old wondered to my porch last night. Since it was going to get cold i took him in. He doesnt have collar or tags. I have posted him on CL with no response. Im looking for someone that would like to adopt him because i got a baby coming in a couple weeks and i have too many dogs already. he looks real healthy and is very playful. He gets along great with my kids, my other pit, and my 2 small dogs. I will keep him if i have to but im really not in a situation where i can take on another animal right now. I just dont like to see animals suffer in the cold. If anyone is interested just let me know and we can setup a time to come see him.

Have you tried putting up fliers. With him only having arrived less than 24 hours ago chances are still good he belongs somewhere already

I agree..... his owner is probably looking for him. I really urge you to put up fliers. You never know who Is surfing CL looking for another bait dog or fighter.

as long as he has been outside i doubt anyone is looking for him. dogs get dumped in my neighborhood all the time. this is the 5th dog this year that showed up on my porch and wouldnt leave. if someone claimed him i would want proof that they were the original owners. he had some cuts on his face and in his ear that looks like hes been in a fight but hes a sweet boy.

Post some identifiers on the flyer and before you reveal your location to the caller ask them to describe some details that an owner would know like a scar or eye color or they can meet you some where and show you a picture of them with the dog. Maybe take it to a vet and see if its chipped. I used to think that if the owner was irresponsable enough to let the dog get out then they didnt need to own them but recently it happened to me. I own 4 dogs who are all inside dogs and dont go outside in the backyard for long periods of time unless I am out there with them. My backyard is fully fenced and pretty secure but recently my dogs dug a hole after it rained really fast and got out. (dug in a matter of 10 minutes) They got out into my neighbors yard and they called me and their adventure only lasted about 10 minutes but if they had gotten out front who knows what might have happened. My point is you never know if it was dumped or lost. Someone might be looking for it and if it were me I would post some flyers in the area. Don't include a picture just be basic with it and if the real owers calim it then they should be able to accurately describe it.

Good luck to you man! Its good to know it found you to give it a warm safe place until it goes home or to a new home.

hes also humping my 2 year old male pomoyorkie and me. he wont touch the kids, my female chipoodle, or my wife. he also walks around thrusting in the air and taking advantage of my kids toys. maybe someone gave him some viagra before i found him.

Lol, I used to have a chi-terrier mix that would hump my APBT. Funny thing was, they were both female :O

And now my English Bulldog, which is also female, humps any woman that plays with her. Never guys.
