Default when is a fuge too small

I am planning the sump for the seahorse cube. Looks like I will only have about an 4" by 15" area to spare.
Do you think that's even worth sticking some cheato in it? Or just too small to matter?

oh man...good question. I would guess it's never too small as long as there's an isolated area for pods to grow and for a deep sandbed (if that's your thing) to sit.

Think about all the mods done to BioCubes...to have a little mini fuge....man I would have loved to have a 4" x 15" fuge area when I had my Aquapod and BioCube....I had something like 3" x 6"!

yes, I think it's worth putting some macro in. Definitely.

My Finnex has a really small fuge area. When I look in there I can see a fair amount of life crawling around.

I turned a aquaclear 70 into a fuge and cheato grew like crazy. my pico had very low nitrates, I also kept a small bag of chemipure elite in there, so I say go for it.

I built a 6 gallong fuge out of an old eclipse sitting around. A regular 10g wouldnt fit under my stand.
