    By silence I meant putting it in silent mode, not silence a call. Lookout is pretty slick. The new update turns the gps on to locate if your phone is lost (vs. leaving gps on)

    Jailbreak removes the restrictions of Apple only allowing App store applications. You can then install an infinite number of available programs to control just about anything on the iPhone.

    Unlock means to remove the carrier lock that US phone companies put on phones that make them work with only their phone service.

    Ahhh, thought maybe you had a defective phone, or maybe I did.

    Has anyone with the EVO found a case that they liked for their phone (protective type). I finally dropped mine for the first time removing it from the leather belt case the other day after having it since they first came out.

    My bro in law has one that comes with a protective screen, hard plastic shell, and I believe it has a holster clip too. By far the best one I have seen. He said they keep them behind the counter at the sprint store. $30 I believe.
