Me, some cousins, and friends, wanted to plan a 2 day fishing trip and we where thinking about corpus. My chick and i go fishing there every 3 months or so but we only catch crokers. I want to make it worth going and want to catch something bigger then a croker.
I know its cold out but we dont mind the weather.
So we need some tips and advice from some corpus locals or fishermen that go out there often.
We are planning to fish off that long rock pier behind the lexington (during the day) and a wood pier (at night) that is on the way to portland from corpus.
Whats bitting this time of years?
What kind of bait do you suggest? (live/dead/lure)
Do you know of a better spot to fish?
Any helpful advice would be great.
