The week we got home with our first kid, our washer went out. I got a new control board from FirstSource and it still cost 1/2 the price of a new washer. When our dryer went out this past summer, we just bit the bullet and got a new washer/dryer set. Just didn't feel like pluncking that much money down on something that was out of warranty. May be worth it for you to just get a new set.
