Never have dosed anything. I used to use a 2 part but now I just do water changes weekly.
Never tried feeding them and probably won't change any time soon. most of my colonies are 4x bigger than they were when I got them so I've never really seen a need to throw in a bunch more food for them.

They may turn out to be more colorful... are they always that tan shade?

Tan is awesome. I was looking for tan staghorns and ended up with one yucky green/purple one.

I just went back to 20ks a about a month ago. THey lost color inder the 12k's but grew like crazy. My camera phone doesn't do much for them either
