    Default reference thread: beginner zoas/palys

this will be a running list of the zoas/palys we (maast members) believe are good beginner corals.

if you would like to add a fish to this list, please post it here along with why (personal experience) it should be included.

other things that would be helpful:

    pics
how long have you had it?
    what are its food/light/flow requirements?
what other organisms is it compatible/incompatible with?
anything else you can think of

I want to be the first to say that the "Teal Palys" or "Texas Trash Palys" are a very easy specimen to keep but they WILL spread in your tank and become a nuisance over time. They don't sting other corals as much as they overgrow them and starve them for light.
