Caulerpa Continued
Hi all--
In continuing to find the right caulerpa for my refugium, I would like to know what type of caulerpa is the most desirable for a refugium that is not going to run a 24 hour light cycle.
I am looking into caulerpa because I cannot seem to get cheato to grow. I had some grape caulerpa that went bonkers but it is so invasive that I was worried it would spread to the main tank so I removed it.
Top candidates I've read about seem to be cactus caulerpa and prolifera.
Any stores in town that have a good selection of macro-algae to choose from?
Thanks--
Dean

All of them are the same, very invasive. If you have tangs in the tank, they usually keep any from start in the main tank. When they are all over, that is when you will have problem getting the fish to eat them. When they just start out almost any herbivores will eat them or at least sample them and this will kill them.
