    Default WTB live rock!!!!!

    im going to be upgrading to a bigger tank next month, and im already looking into where i can get live rock, for cheap, im looking to buy it for hopefully 2.50 a pound but can always go cheaper. lol anyone know were i can get some at a good price let me know because im looking to buy about 120 pounds, thank you

    congrats on the new tank!
    have you considered dry rock?
    you can always get some liverock to seed the dry rock with
    I think Phenomenal Aquatics gets some pretty nice dry rock fairly inexpensive

    I agree with Karin. Dry rock is the way to go. I started my 180g with approx 140lbs of dryrock. That was 3months ago and my rock is covered in Pods and already starting to grow coraline algae.

    All it takes is having a fuge and some live rubble to get it kickstarted.

    +2 Dry rock

    Check out Marcorocks.com... I picked up 75 lbs of super nice dry rock for $160 I ordered 75lbs but got 100lbs! Shipping was free so it basically cost me $1.60 a pound. Its totally white but when the coraline grows on it you will never know the wiser. The benefit of dryrock is there is no pest hitchikers like aptasia and no die off so there is no cycle. You can call Mark (owner of Marcorocks) and he will work with getting you the pieces to meet your aquascaping needs. I ordered on a thursday and recieved the rocks on a Tuesday.

    If you go this route ill be happy to give you a little rock covered in coraline to seed your tank. LMK
