BC 29 mods
Well I am getting ready to start mod'ing my BC 29 again, and was wondering what people thought about removing the top plastic trim. Does it have any structrual importance? I am wanting to remove the trim and make it rimless with my LEDs hanging from above. And remove the back chambers and remake them so that my skimmer fits and I have room for a mini fuge and other mech/chemical filtration.
So any thoughts on the structrual significance of the upper trim? and maybe the peices that run vertically in the back.

I have had a couple Bio Cubes, actually have a BC 29 reef right now. Im pretty sure you can remove the trim without any bad effects. Ive also seen other completely remove the back chambers, and drill the tank.
Id say go for it!
