Default Need lighting and ro/di recommendations

My wife asked me to convert her 20g high into a fowlr, well, actually a tank focusing on chocolate chip stars with a couple extras tossed in. I have a dual t5 glo fixture on my 30g that I plan to move onto the 20g unless I can find something with full hood (she's worried cats going swimming). So, I need lighting recommendations for a 20g fowlr or a 30g mixed reef with no sps.

Additionally, I need recommendations for ro/di. Something simple will do, preferably in the $100 range. Is there a local supplier/sponsor who would have something?

Oh, and any ideas what to put with the chocolate chip star are welcome.

You can go on ebay and get an rodi for $100, but I suspect sooner rather than later you'll wish you spent a few bucks more and got something better to start with. With either of those tanks you mention, a 75 gpd rodi would be a good choice. You should plan to reun the rodi at least once a week.
