WOW, I did not realize you guys built all of that. Very impressive! I would love to live there.
Thanks Rob. My husband calls it 'champagne taste on a beer budget' -got to put in a little sweat to get what you want.![]()

That horse stall is nicer than what we had at college. Looks spectacular!

Yeah, and I'm impressed with my shelves I built out of my dirtbike ramps.
I used to unload and stack lumber for my dad, all day everyday when I was 12-15. NOT FUN. Maybe that's why I try to be lazy now-a-day.![]()
200g-No Corals Yet!
Looks nice Karin. One interesting thought since you have your own chickens, my youngest son can eat home grown eggs from my brother or natural eggs from wal mart, but if he eats the regular store bought eggs he gets weak, lips turn white, gets a rash and almost passes out.
Oh that must be scary. I'd hate to see my little guys react to stuff like that. :(
I wonder if it has something to do with the hormones or other meds they give the chickens?
I was really surprised when I learned what the criteria was for labeling stuff. Like 'natural' can be used for anything. There is no regulation on that. Free roaming just means they're not in individual cages, etc. They still may never see the sunshine, grass or beetles...
All that stuff seems really misleading.
Truly free roaming chickens produce eggs much higher in good stuff like Omega 3 because of all the bugs they are eating. You wouldn't believe what ginormous grasshoppers the chickens can catch and eat!
And then of course there's that extra little bit of love and attention that makes the eggs extra good. ;)
