Hi FishyPets, What kind of shape is your red dragon and does it have recall problems?

Red Dragon is in great shape and this model was not affected by the recalls.

Reeflo Snapper Hybrid Gold (can be upgraded to match the DART in terms of flow if desired). About $400 for the pump, whic is different than the Snapper Hybrid (which I what I got by mistake). The regular Hybrid is fairly quiet, but not silent.

On the plus side, the pump has very low energy consumption and thus saves money.

This bad boy kicks out > 1700 gph, has a small footprint, runs very quiet and uses a small amount of energy.
