D'oh!!!
Well, as we get settled into our new to us house, I've decided to make the front room a relaxed area. The 100 centered against one wall, slow work in progress in regards to stocking and becoming used to saltwater....I had a 55gal in the for sale section and craigslist for quite a while, but there just didn't seem to be an interest out there right now. Since moving time came and it didn't sell, it had to come with us. Looking at it sit on the floor as we unpacked, I couldn't bear to see it sitting empty. I'm not in the position to invest in more salt equipment as of right now. I placed the tank up on the stand centered between the two front windows. Well, I really don't want the tank sitting empty and didn't want to store it in the garage for the possible heat. ******, filled it up with water and now pondering on where to go. Maybe a nicely planted setup, something groomed, maybe like this:

I like the look of that, especially with the black backing. I don't want neons or something common at any store. I posted this in the lounge since there isn't a subforum for freshwater. Anywho, another tank for my kiddos to try throwing crud into, lol....Thanks for letting me waste bandwidth.
I'll post pics of the room later. I need to repaint from the naster light green the previous owner had and want to retexture with the knockdown style.

Look up the golden ratio for aquariums if you haven't already.
I also have a sweet link for a waterfall inside the tank.

oh yeah. I have those book marked from my Cichlid days, before finding out how much cichlids loved plants...I accidentally bought them about $120 worth of salad overnight, lol. Lesson learned the hard way, hahahah. Thanks for the links. I'd love to do the waterfall affect if it was practical for daily operation. I definitely like the planting rule link as well.

yeah, awesome visual effect, especially with the right flow. Anyone used one of these for storing water:

Was thinking about it, especially with being in an older house with God knows what kind of water quality. Figured would be easier.
