    Only way to bring down Kh is to add some acidity, vinegar or vitamin C would work. I keep mine between 11 and 12. My tank consumes 4-5 ppm calcium per day. As long as Mag is adequate you won't snowstorm.

    Wow, I could make my tank a Screwdriver...vodka for a carbon source and OJ for the vitamin C...lol.
