    Default It's been a while!

Hey Maasties, long time no type! Life has been pretty busy lately and it's been quite some times since I've logged into maast. In the past 5 months I've just been letting my tank grow I haven't added any livestock, corals, etc. I have been continuing dosing Brightwells though and all I can say is the proof is in the pictures! I must be honest, I haven't been all that good about water changes, i've only done 3 in the past 5 months (I know, I know, I know). Water changes are always the first thing to go in tank maintenance. I'm making up for it though, doing 4 gallons every other week to get back into my routine. Other then brightwells, i've been dosing B-Ionic every night and lugols every few weeks. I had some periods of small HA growths but those usually lasted a few weeks and went away on their own (or the tang got them)!

On this post i've included pics I took tonight of the tank. On the next post down I put in pics I took of the tank in September right as I was starting brightwells. Hopefully that will give yall some idea of the growth i've seen on the tank.

I just got this camera, so I still need to learn it a bit better to get the white balance down. I'll take some more pics as I learn how to use it a bit better.

    Dude,

Really glad that you've broken your hiatus. Your photos don't capture the full effect of your tank dude, in person the tank is awesome....

....not to mention the eight foot TV in your living room.

Thanks Allan! Yeah, I just got this camera and it seems the newer the camera the more darn buttons and stuff to figure out. And yes, that sounds bad coming from someone who works in IT!

You and Taz need to come over and watch a movie sometime!

How about the next time there's a fight?

The frags you hooked me up with are starting to branch! I may have them a little low in comparison to where they were in your tank, but they seem to be doing well.

    Karin,

This guy is the only one I've known that shows this kind of restraint. He has like four to six colonies (all grown from frags) that are getting huge. It lends for a really clean look.

I don't know how he does it... I go into Home Depot looking for frags.

Nice growth. What size is your tank? and what were the light in the beginning and what are they now?
