Thread: Killin' me quick w/ this tank.

  1. #1

Default Killin' me quick w/ this tank.

Finally installed a sump/rubble rock, hooked up the overflow/return.

    Loud!!!! for one.
xenia and some shrooms look like they're dying.

    Everything else looks good!

Wondering if the 15 gallon new/RO that got cycled through caused a shock, or what??

thanks again for any help ya'll.

No.... it was salt-RO. just I only do about 5 gallon at a time usually. and since I filled the sump up to its 15 gallon mark then started it up, bang!!! things to a bit of a nose dive.

nothing is dead yet, just looking a little week on the two pre-mentioned

    65 gallon tank, 20 gallon sump/rubble refuge.
Yeah, got the water to the same temp as main tank, and sponged it for the first day.

P.S. Is there a reason to have a light on a rubble refuge? (Chaeto is in the main tank)
