Question What the HECK is this???

It's growing on a piece of live rock. Started small and flat...now it's getting fatter and round? Just wondering if it is safe or if I should get it out of the tank before it hatches/gives birth/opens up to release an alien mutant?????

    THANKS for looking

Sponge? I think I have a few as well. They have never hurt anything. I live and let live most of the time.

Yep, usually a good sign for your tank!

If it's not a sponge it might be a tunicate.
