Well, I got my first bucket of Brightwell salt mix. I though I would let everyone know that Polly's on pat booker now has this is stock at a fair price. I will keep everyone updated on any changes(if any) that I notice.

29g Macro Tank
I got a hold of some sample bags a while back. I was very happy with it for the short time I used it. All levels and parameters were good once mixed - it mixed easily and completely - levels stayed constant and slowly dropped off versus my other salt brand where the levels would dop off sharply after a couple of days. I want to also try the new Seachem before I make up my mind finally, but I was impressed with the Brightwell.

Agreed, the new seachem will not be available for awhile( I believe)
29g Macro Tank
In my experience I started with Red Sea coral pro, and hated it, my levels were always out of wack. I switch over to Seachem reef salt and those level blues were gone. As John said a couple days after doing a water change my cal+ levels will start to drop, but since I drip kalk thats a good thing for me. I used Seachem for a year before I even thought of useing another salt, then Brighwell started making a salt. I have been useing other BW products for over a year now and have LOVED them, so why would they're salt be any different?... I got a bag from the shop one week and started switching over, everything looked great in the begining, but as the 2 months had gone by my levels started to get all jacked up again I had a Alk level of 16 and a CAL+ of 320. I talked it over with John and Ace, and both agreed that I need to stop the drip, but as my Alk strated to drop so did my Calcium. That wasnt the solution. Sorry guys. I switched back over to seachem reef salt, a week later I started to drip again. Since then I have leveled back out at 11 for Alk and 380 for Cal+. Now im not saying that the salt was bad, and it was a bad choice, and IMO 10 times better than RSCP but for my tank it just wasnt the right salt.
Trial and Error boy's. Trial and Error.....
