How did you find Maast and when?

I had coworkers that had saltwater tanks and I figured it would be interesting hobby to get into. Bought my first tank a 55. Started visting the local fish stores doing research on the different stores around town. On trip to Texas Tropical I met someone from maast, don't remember there name, do remember they bought a pair of Bangai cardinals. Told me to check out the site and I did. The rest is history.

i joined up after spending a couple hours at aqaurium masters in c.c. i had recently moved back from d.c. and was setting up a new tank. they told me about maast and i signed up that evening. it was that simple. lol.

and i am pretty confident that most members from c.c. joined because of aquarium masters. they market the club heavily as an invaluable resource and a great place to meet other fish nerds.

I was keeping cichlids and going to CB Pets a lot, and Mark and Richard kept talking about saltwater, and eventually their store moved away from cichlids to mostly saltwater. They finally talked me into getting rid of some cichlids and converting a tank(the 75g that Corruption now has). Then they closed down and I was pretty much out of it until I recently decided to get rid of all freshwater and try salt one more time. Now I'm hooked! Someone at AD reminded me of MAAST when I was in there picking some stuff up, so I found my old user name and became a charter member that day.

I was at Awana one day buying something or other and I was looking for something else and the guy behind the counter told me to go to Gabe's and if he didn't have it I should look here for it. I joined the next day. I didn't go to Gabe's first though.lol

Me 2004 my ortho pod had a tank in his office. We had a saltwter tank in 1977 and it crashed. Had kids instead push forward March 04. Alamo aquatic told me after I dropped a bndle on salt stuff. Then I met the lunitics here on maast
